Jericho Middle School, also known as JMS, is a very nice and organized school to be in. The moment I learned about this school, I thought that this would be a great school to go to. From my experience, there are many factors that make me love this school. The teachers are great, and the building is organized and easy to follow. I would rate this school 5 whole stars.
Clubs are a huge factor for many people, including me. After school, a club is held. For example, Art Club, Newspaper Club, Geography Bee Club, and Language clubs like French, Italian, and Spanish! You can do projects, experiments, and don’t worry, there are snacks! Different clubs are held on different days, and some of them are on the same day!
TECH IN THE SCHOOL
A modern, electronic device is mainly (and should be) used for learning, projects, and fun learning games like Kahoot, Gimkit, and Quizlet! Chromebooks are a great way to teach students, whether it is by watching a science video or playing a game to review for an ELA test!
This device is mainly used by teachers while teaching a class. It is connected to their computer, and instead of the screechy chalkboard, a gentle lighted smart board is used to transmit information! Instead of old school chalk, an electronic pen with many different colors is used by the teacher! This big screen device would allow every student to be able to see the board! (Of course, unless another person is blocking their head!)
Based on all of the above, it is easy to see why JMS is rated one of the top schools on Long Island!
