In January 2019, the Broly movie broke the box office. It was off the charts and was one of the most highest grossing films. It was about Dragon Ball Z characters fighting and told the story of their lives. I loved this film so much, I will give it a 10 out of 10. My favorite characters were Goku, Vegeta and Broly. The fight scenes were amazing!

A Bizarre Day (abbreviated as ABD) is a game based on the manga series, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Basically, what you do is get an arrow to stab yourself with, get rokakaka fruit and eat it, and repeat. An arrow is an item that gives you a stand. Stands are abilities that you have. For example, The World is a natural humanoid stand that can stop time and Gold Experience is a stand that can turn the objects it touches into living things.
Rokakaka fruits are fruits that you eat and lose your stand. It might sound sad but some stands are just bad to a point, but they are not bad enough to do damage. Dio is the main boss in the game. He wields the powerful The World stand. When you defeat him, you get the Dio Diary, which is used to buff stands.

“Boxers” is written by Gene Luen Yang. The book is about when missionaries came to China and the local people thought they were ”devils”. The locals used their ‘gods’ to fight with them. The author uses words that attract the reader to keep reading. He wrote the book as if the gods were real gods, since the story seems so real, which made the book a bit offensive to people of other religions.
The book to me is somewhat offensive since I’m Christian but it is really enjoyable. It is realistic fiction since there are all these gods and goddesses who were fighting against other people to gain land for themselves.
The story takes place in China from a small town to a big city and the author uses literary devices that make the story seem real. For example, ” NO!, Do not light the library on fire please, China is nothing more than people and stories and now you’re going to destroy them all!”
Gene Luen Yang is a famous cartoonist and educator. He wrote the award-winning “American Born Chinese” which depicted his life as an American born Chinese. Give the book "Boxers" a try. We're sure you will enjoy it!

“Where are we going mom?” asked Alma when she and her mom were packing up. Alma had a very strange life; she didn’t know where her father was, or anything else except the fact that he was dead. She didn’t even know where her stepfather, Adam, went. She searched graveyard after graveyard with her best friend, Julia, but still nothing. She noticed that furniture at her house was disappearing.
One day all of a sudden, her mom took her to Portugal to see the beautiful city of Lisbon. She met many new relatives she had no idea existed, like her cousin, Leonor. She went to a new school, which was more formal than her school in America. She also learned a BIG secret she didn’t know about at all! Read the book to find out! I would recommend this book because this book makes you feel you’re going on an adventure to Portugal!

Have you ever lost your mom? Well, 3 kids in this story did. Finn, Emma, and Chess Greystone came back from school one day to hear the news of 3 children being kidnapped, who had the same birthday, and first and middle names as them! What a coincidence! This is the point where their mom started acting a little strange. . . Oh well, what could possibly go wrong?
Finn, Emma, and Chess hadn’t expected this, but their mom then took a business trip and left them with Ms. Morales, and her daughter Natalie at her house. Some time passed, and they got restless about their mom not coming back home and started searching their own house for any evidence their mom left for them. The 4 of them together eventually started finding clues in the house, and codes to crack that their mom left for them. They also learned many secrets they didn’t know about their mom!
After searching for a while, they learned that something bad happened to their mom, and that she wasn’t on a business trip, but in an alternate dimension! They then discovered a secret underground room in their house which led to a tunnel, which led to an alternate dimension. This is where I will stop, and let you read the book and find out about what happens next. I would recommend this book to people who love mystery books like the amazing, Sherlock Holmes! This book isn’t the end; don’t forget to also read the 2nd, and last, book of this series!

Have you ever seen a creature that looks mythical? This book is about a girl named Addie who lives in Vermont, and whose twin brother, Amos died by falling into an icy lake called Maple Lake. Addie had seen what Amos always saw in the lake, the gold glittery shape underwater which she thought was a log. She didn’t believe it was anything different until she found Amos’ notebook with clues about the creature he believed he saw underwater and decided to check it out herself. In school, her teacher Mr. Dale had made up a position (specifically for Addie) called Young Scientist. The main job is to research about pollution in Maple Lake. A doctor from New York, Dr. Li, travels to Vermont and brings her son, Tai, with her to work on the project with Addie. Together, they search for the creature with the help of Amos’ clues and find the cause for pollution in Maple Lake.
I would recommend this book because it will give you multiple feelings throughout the story such as the feeling of sadness or love. Read the book to find out what happened!
